Last Morning, Last Walk……

…….for me…. For this holiday. I spotted this man striding out along the beach as I started my walk. There was a bit of low key drama in the camp during the night…. When I got up to go to the toilet block at 4am the whole camp was in the dark. Colloquially it was “as dark as the inside of a cow”…. Luckily I carried a torch. The houses on the hills surrounding the camp were in the dark too. A power cut from 2.am over the whole area. I went for a 7km walk and the power had been restored when I returned to camp.
Sadly for me this was my last day here. I finished loading the vehicle to the gunnels and finally set out for home late morning. I’m pleased to be home although I never enjoy all the unpacking. My house-sitters have done a wonderful job looking after the house, pets and are real stars. I am lucky to have them in my life. .
