A new book arrived today.
The Feast Day of Saint Thomas Aquinas.
He lived from 1225 to 1274. He was a Dominican priest, Confessor, theologian and Doctor of the Catholic Church. He was a disciple of St Albert the Great and wrote Tantem ergo and Pange Lingua, two well loved hymns. He is the Patron Saint of Catholic Universities. His religious writings are vast, and his Summa Theologica was translated into English in 22 volumes. If you are interested in awesome high achieving saints, he's your man!
The weather has been cold but bearable. It is currently 4c but feels like 0c.
The evening time brought rain.
Nothing unusual happened..I read and did crochet. I walked to the Parish Church and collected a current newsletter. There is always plenty to pray for.
godtv have a prayer and media mission focus on Souls, Israel and Revival. S.I.R. A good way to remember, at a time when we need clear focus and not overwhelm.
Holly and Hunter were marvellous companions.
The garden is still soggy and the bulbs are showing green.
Paul did some more engraving, but in his Music room, because the noise of the drill is very unpleasantly loud and downstairs it caused me ear ache. I don't normally suffer ear ache. The vibration of the drill is the cause.
I was contented with my lot.
Hopefully you had a good day too.
