The Feast Day of Saint Angela Merici. She enabled young, poor girls in her area of Italy to learn about the teachings of Christianity. She was of the Franciscan Order.
After some time and a vision that inspired her life, Saint Angela Merici and eight young women companions established the Ursulines.

This Monday morning it is very damp, cold and it has been raining.

I went to the Best One shop, wearing sufficient layers as a barrier against the low temperature.

I fed the cats and the garden birds.

There were the visits from the dear blackbird, starlings and Holly and Hunter enjoyed watching them feeding.

Today I continue to do housework, praying to Jesus and The Saints, reading and crocheting.
