While the sun is very dangerously dazzling and the sky is a perfect shade of blue, it is 1:55pm and Google forecast says it is 6c, feels like 3c. If you are old, a baby, vulnerable or have thin hair the blessing of a decent hat is a good accessory.
I have been to Best One and to deliver to a friend a copy of last week's The People's Friend. Then I plodded along to take a look at the canal. There were pieces of trash in the water. There were ducks and a pair of cold Canada Geese as well. I did not stand about very long. Thankful as always for this warm house and peace to get on with life, not unaware of all the sufferings in the world. Praying that good ideas are sown and do well in places of dreadful injustice that cause people to travel far away from their birth place.
The tragic movement of displaced migrants is an ongoing concern, because of ill treatment, political failures and climate catastrophes. Peace to all. Those political strangleholds are doing harm to their inhabitants and chaos, potentially, to the countries they are aiming to stay in, but have no respect for Christian values. Wake up and be fair.
I hope the weather is not as dreadful as the feed that forecast about an impending minus 17c in the UK. Animals are at risk and elderly are not being allowed to have
adequate Winter Fuel Allowance. Such a bad deal. God help us be fair to the elderly.
