Between fen and mountains

Lone tree

It is not unusual to see blackened trees as small scrub fires and much more serious forest fires are common in summer. The land regenerates and there seems to be regrowth around the base of this tree. After all, forest fires are a natural phenomenon. It is just that we have too many of them with climate change. Today I did both the market and the supermarket shopping which I achieved in double quick time as I needed to be back for the tennis lesson. Mrs. TT is feeling a bit better but not quite up to shopping. However, she did decide to do some jobs around the house and some cooking. Only one other person turned up at French conversation so we just had a chat for half an hour before I left to get back home in time for my haircut.
