Today’s walk took us on the.Sentier des Cabanes. We saw at least five substantial shepherds’ shelters or ‘orris’. On the climb up, we called in at the chapel of Saint James before reaching the. dolmen de l’Arca de Calahons for lunch. We took a different route down taking in a section of the Camino de Santiago. There were just six of us, a truly international group with two Danes, one Australian, one American, one Frenchman and me the only Brit.. In all we walked 12 kilometres with 540 metres of ascent.
