What a day. Everything packed yesterday and just chilled to transfer to fridge, did that and tried to switch fridge on but control panel for the camper would not respond. Hubby got manual out and started checking things. I suggested we plugged into mains, he dismissed and continued trying things.
About 30 minutes later he said call the dealership for advice, I suggested trying the mains power again, this time he agreed and it worked.
So left later than planned, stopped for late lunch and got to cottage at 4pm. Tree down in garden, not a big one, and boiler leaking so no water or heating. Took him an hour but he managed to fix it.
Walked Hetty, but not far as it was dark by the time we went out. He doesn’t think the repair will hold so plans to turn everything off overnight. We are only staying one night and the next time we are here the service is booked so hopefully the plumber will fix.
