Started well

Left cottage around ten after a pleasant early walk, very cold and frost on windows. Stopped for a coffee and had a dry drive to Moffat. The town looked very nice so decided to have a walk in once we had set up in camper. Filled with water and got electrics on, made some lunch and just about to leave when the rain started and it got really windy, so we waited. Still waiting after afternoon coffee so I put on my waterproof, and Hetty had hers on, and we headed off for a very wet walk.
So lots of reading done this afternoon.
There is no mobile phone signal available and site warden told us this is every network in the area is down, how true that is I don’t know as I can’t get any information. The site wifi has been struggling since we got here and mostly off. Currently on the bed at the back of camper with iPad held up to high window and got one bar. I will try to look at blip tonight but it is not a comfortable position to use the iPad and it could be off again at any time. Hopefully mobile restored tomorrow as I hate not being able to contact daughter.
