After all the warnings of high winds and heavy rain we got ready for the garden to flood and made sure everything was fully charged. Dry walk before breakfast, got camper packed while it was dry during the morning.
Did another photo lesson and spent time taking lots of shots around the house as it was too windy to hold the camera steady outside. Out with Hetty just after three and no wind or rain. So wellies sat waiting for action all day, and saw none.
Watched the news and can’t believe how bad Scotland and Ireland have been hit. Plus power off and trees down in village where our cottage is to we are calling in on the way to Scotland tomorrow to check everything OK.
