Spring Arriving
After the cold grey winter
when the sun arrives,
little tiny shoots
reaching up above
from the cold dark earth, begin
a whole new journey...
Is this springtime or just a hint of springtime today?
Such a beautiful morning at Greys Court National Trust.
I am glad I saw the forecast last night, and organised myself to get there as it opened today (when I left it was packed, but I had over an hour in the quiet gardens to myself! )
Just what the doctor ordered, after this long grey winter of ours....
Home and its taken me sometime to edit over 400 photos today. I also did a couple of rough sketches while I was out :)
And of course the usual coffee and cheese scone for an early lunch :)
A massive 2,528 steps for me in this first trip for a long time without the use of crutches! I've already started to stiffen up...
It will be a quiet afternoon and evening doing a few chores, and helping Charlie cope with her new cat flap - she is not used to the clicks and refuses to come in that way so far...the old one used to swing all the time...
It was such a difficult decision to know what to blip....the extras are only a few selections!
