Solar Power Part II

The lanterns* made it into the case and onto the terrace. The early evening light isn't quite the solar power they were designed for but I like the effect.

A very sleepfree night with a bad stomach and then a thunderstorm left me a little delicate this morning but an impromptu trip to the weekly market with Anna and some very random retail therapy** helped no end. The boys meanwhile had been usefully employed taking our recycling and replacing bottles of gas. We met for refreshments at Meson in the Plaza de la Constitution and a little more retailing at the design your own t-shirt shop, something of a tradition now.

Back to the cortijo for pool, lunch, sleeping/reading in the shade, draughts and Chinese Checkers, more pool shenanigans, BBQ'd chicken and chorizo dinner and UNO.

Time now for another episode of Blackadder before sunset and testing the night-time powers of the lasers.
