Friday: Leaning

We have four pictures in these frames - they were painted as a series by a friend of mine.  Since we moved in they have been leaning against the wall on top of the bookshelves.  I can't for the life of me remember if we ever meant to hang them but we quite like them as they are.

I have been feeling quite fragile today.  I hold James (see yesterday) entirely responsible!  It was, however, an excellent night.  Apart from the shot I posted yesterday, I took photos all evening in black and white and did a lot of portrait shots - I thoroughly enjoyed it!  

We have a long weekend coming up and are off to the coast tomorrow.  The roads are heaving with tourists now - I would say that 4 out of 5 cars on the motorway come from outside Croatia.  Last weekend, the queue at the toll to leave the motorway was 20 km (luckily not on a day we were travelling).  So, thanks to K.'s dentist, who has recommended am alternative route, we have devised a non-motorway route which may be slightly longer but will actually save us time and help us avoid massive tailbacks.  In theory.........
