Green Again
One milder, rainy night, and almost all white has gone from the landscape.
Only the sad remains of some snowmen are still melting away in the field.
After a morning at work, I drove to my mother’s house for a vet’s appointment. My mother’s cat Lisa has started scratching her fur off, and we found a vet who makes house calls (for a price) to examine her. Lisa is going to be 20 this year, which makes her the oldest cat we ever had, and we didn’t want to stress her with a long trip to the vets in town.
She seems to have an allergic reaction to some kind of parasite, the vet thought, gave her an injection and left us with pills and creams.
Let’s hope it helps, and she can go on being an old cat in an old lady’s house.
