We took a trip right around the mountain

About a two hour journey although we took most of the day stopping to look at places of interest. The road followed the coast for over half of the distance. This beach was very stoney and not appealing as a swimming beach but other beaches we visited had families enjoying the sunshine and surf lifesavers patrolling. The mountain stayed uncloaked in cloud for part of the trip but by mid afternoon had disappeared.
