Tulips

With all the gray days I needed some fresh flowers to brighten things up. Fresh tulips are now available in the grocery stores so I will likely buy some on a regular basis.
After brunch today I took Marilyn's car out for a drive around the Eastern Passage/Cow Bay loop. Not much to see today, it was foggy this afternoon. Her OCD is getting worse. When I dropped the car off, I only went as far as the back door so I wouldn't have to take my boots off. She didn't get up from her recliner in the living room. One of the things she said, I was glad I was not facing her. The look of disbelief on my face would have told her that something was wrong. I got out of there rather quickly. I am going to have to talk to her about her gardens. I think it is time to start downsizing them. She is not going to be happy about it. But it has to be done.

Brunch went well today. The waitress told us there was only one person in the kitchen. But whoever was in the kitchen must have been good because the meals all came out close together. Alan finally got a call this morning from the manager of the restaurant that had the fire. I told Carol that I was glad she happened to go to the website and noticed that it said 'temporarily closed'.

I plan to take tomorrow off, and hope to get out for a walk before the temperatures drop.
