An outing
Today I went with The Other M to a musical performance by the Omega Ensemble, mostly strings, with a piano solo piece and a clarinet player added to one. They played works by American composers Samuel Adams (son of John Adams) and Missy Mazzoli. It was in an acoustically excellent small auditorium in one of the piers at Walsh Bay. It was fabulous, mesmerising and I heard every note.
Public transport was disrupted due directly or indirectly by Sydney's recent wild weather but we got there in time. I wasn't prepared to battle it on the way home so we got on the wonderful Metro, so far underground and driverless that it just keeps going. I got out at Sydenham, the closest Metro stop to my home, hence the photo.
My extra is our beloved Coat Hanger tsken from the pier.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
