not my monkey!
Today I was awake early in case I was needed to act in loco parentis at Eilidh's school today but it was ok, dad was available and I was off the hook! This meant I could go back to bed and do all my quizzes over a lazy second cup of coffee.
I met Ali at lunch time and we went into town to pick up Bonnie's new shoes. There had been a query over the fitting of the first pair which was confirmed by another shop. She ended up getting a refund for the first pair and being fitted for another pair elsewhere. The colour Ali wanted wasn't in stock so they had to be ordered and arrived today .
I was very impressed, they even gave her a photograph in a special mount showing her being fitted for her first shoes and complete with her name and the date . She's a size 2! She thoroughly enjoyed the experience as you can see in the extra and was being much admired by big sister who would have rather liked new shoes too. We all came back here afterwards and Josie enjoyed having the company of her oldest cousin, Eilidh. Eilidh read her stories and played beautifully with her.
