A drab sort of day. Busy this morning after a HIIT session, changing bedding and cooking for this evening.

Son Matt came over this afternoon (only works mornings on Fridays) for a chat and a walk. We were expecting his to stay for dinner, hence the cooking this morning - a fine (even if I say so myself) chilli. He brought over our Christmas presents which we couldn’t collect owing to us being away over the holiday period. Earrings for Susan, some beer for me.

We had wires crossed which meant he wasn’t able to stay. However, it was a very enjoyable afternoon with some time spent walking with his dog Winnie and talking about all manner of stuff. And a bonus of six portions of chilli for meals in the future.

It was on the way out that I nipped around the back of our house to see what was cooking for a blip. Couldn’t see anything really so this was the best I can offer. The only photo I took all day
