South Bank

Up to London on a reasonably early train, I whizzed over to Chelsea to return a jumper then back into Fitzrovia for lunch with Hilary before walking down to the South Bank to meet Jodhi.  We went to the National Theatre to see a matinee of The Importance of being Earnest with Ncuti Gatwa, Hugh Skinner and Sharon D Clarke.  It was very colourful and funny.

I took a picture of the curtain call but it was very blurry.  So I am using one of the Wordsworth poems carved into concrete that have got more and more battered.

We had a quick cup of tea together before parting ways and going home. Home in time for dinner cooked by V.
