Amaryllis

Another failed blip day but at least you get to see the Amaryllis in full bloom.  And my clear red tea lights which I don’t like very much so am trying to burn through quickly.  

I was meant to be looking after Leo today who has had a persistent temperature but I got stood down as he was deemed well enough to go to nursery so the day was unexpectedly mine again. I walked the dog first thing and then did some emails and calls in the house before bombing into Petersfield and on some errands.
 
Afternoon in the office partly reading, writing emails and trying to sort out some tech, with the help of ChatGPT! Which got me there in the end 

Cooked a dinner of curried chicken and sweetcorn and a watercress and orange salad. Watched a couple of episodes of The Breakthrough and read my novel Wellness by Nathan Hill.  Which I am now rather enjoying.
