Blue Monday
Very bright cold and sunny but not frosty. Caught a leisurely train up to London and wandered up to the office through Soho. My eye was caught by this man loading all these colourful crates into a transit van at the entry to China Town.
Quiet time in the office as not many people come in on a Monday but was glad to be able to catch up with Christian
Met our writer Nick for a quick lunch and then spent the afternoon in the mix which was a bit fraught. I missed the intended train home and then found V couldn’t pick me up as the main road was closed so had to get a long and expensive taxi home. Watched more of the new Fargo which is fun. It’s going to be a cold week so we are enjoying burning the old fence, all cut up by Lance but as the wood is chestnut it spits …so we’ve got a fire guard
And for Blue Monday from poet Lemn Sissay:-
How do you do it?’ said night
‘How do you wake up and shine?’
‘I keep it simple,’ said light
‘One day at a time’”
