Mannequin

First read through for the next play I’m doing tonight, and we’re back in the familiar rehearsal room territory of Heysham Jubilee Institute. It’s had a bit of a makeover since I was last there, but I’m not sure if these figures were part of the improvements or just hadn’t been put away after Christmas!
Mind you, it was worse for our Director who was first into the room and only saw these figures when she turned the light on. There may have been an expletive uttered…
It was nice to meet my fellow actors for the first time and to hear the words in the script actually spoken out loud. Looking forward to rehearsals getting properly underway next week.
Just the small matter of 5 more pantomime performances to get through first though…
