Great Mell Fell from Basecamp

No I am not having delusions of grandeur and pretending I am on an Everest expedition.  The cafe/farm shop that was called Cocklakes is under new ownership and they have decided to cal l it Base camp North Lakes.

Clickychick wanted so shots of Mungrisdale church in the snow.  The roads were clear of snow.  I suspect because of the small villages along the eastern side of the Skiddaw Massif they plough and grit the roads.  So off we went.

On the way back CC heard the coffee and cake calling from the cafe so we had to stop.  After a pleasant interlude in the mess hall cafe we headed home.  I stepped in front of the car to take this shot.
