Orchid

In the middle of January each year Beetham Nurseries has an Orchid day, well it used to be a weekend but is now a day.  Burnham Nurseries one of the largest Orchid nurseries in the country comes up from Devon bring ing Orchids you don't see in the ordinary run of the mill outlets.

As you might expect Kanyl and I have a day down there.  WE arrived just after eleven, had a quick look round and went for an early lunch.  Good decision!  By the time we came out there was a long queue at the door.  Standing outside in this weather isn't my idea of fun.  Obviously we took shots of Orchids for blip.  My usual habit is to take a photo of the name tag so that I know what the thing is.  This one was well back in the mass of plants so I couldn't get a shot.  Sensibly I copied down the name on the label.  Well I thought I did, but an internet search and a visit to Burnham's website does not reveal an Orchid with a name even similar to what I wrote down,
