Peek of Light

The morning started still and cloudy. Five degrees felt quite balmy compared to the freezing temperatures of late. As Merlin I walked the clouds cleared a little to allow some brighter light to penetrate through to us. It made such a difference. We returned home to biscuits and peanut butter (Merlin), and a mug of tea and hummus sandwich (myself).

This afternoon I was busy in the kitchen making various things including cranberry flap jacks. This time they turned out well and in good time for the return of a hungry golfer - Andy.
