Lifting Stones

This afternoon we went out on my quest to provide seasonal photos for our church magazine cover. It should be Mungrisdale's turn in February.

This stone is one of two, sitting outside the village church I blipped at the end of December. It featured on our BBC Look North News this week!  It won't look the same as in the video as it has been put down upside down, hence no lichen showing. The bare side would have been on the ground.

A man called Calum Stott wants to revive the art of lifting stones, sure, let him come and help lay your new drive, you think. Don't try this at home!
