Nudge

The village shop is doing a good job of nudging me into making marmalade again. I made it for the first time last year and got a lot of pleasure from it but there was room for improvement.  Also I still have some left.  I didn’t buy anything today but might think about it next weekend! 

It was the most beautiful day, very cold and clear, below zero all day.  I went to Pilates first thing and then made soup for lunch, popped into town for a birthday card for Leo (who is two today!) before going for a long walk on Chapel Common with Vik and dog.  It was glorious, a thin layer of icy snow on the ground and the bright cold sunlight lit up the silver birch trees.   We got home for a quick cup of tea and then went out to the cinema in Liphook to see Nosferatu which was darkly gothic but not particularly surprising.  Pizza at Guidos before coming home to the chiller.
