The View From the Bottom of the Street

SATURDAY

It was sub-zero first thing but temperatures began to climb as the day went on. It was a balmy 3ºC by mid afternoon.

I headed out on a 3 km walk around the outskirts of the village taking the footpath across the fields past the Rock Chapel, which is perched on top of a hill at St Beuno's, and then picked up the lane to Hen Afon and then home.

The main photo was taken just down the road from home looking across the Vale of Clwyd towards the snowy mountains of Eryri.

One of the extras taken from the sofa at 08:30 am shows the same mountains bathed in light from the early morning sun.

The second extra is the Rock Chapel.
