SUNDAY

After several days of bitterly cold weather, today’s sunshine brought a hint of spring, with temperatures soaring to a delightful 4-5ºC.

It was just 2ºC when I set off on a 9 km run down to the river, through Waen and Rhuallt, before heading back home to Tremeirchion. There were  patches of ice in shady spots along the lanes, but nearly all the snow below 200 metres had melted away.

As I passed St Beuno's, this bullock watched me curiously.

Later in the afternoon, I made a trip to Denbigh, and in the evening, we visited The Salusbury Arms for a talk on the importance of Dark Skies by Dani Robertson, author of All Through the Night.
