What, no birds!

For the last few days I've been trying to keep the bird bath ice free but it's impossible as it's frozen right through. I have been pouring warm water on it so at least there is some water on the top so they can get a drink.
The idea was also that I could get a photo of birds when they came down to it but I haven't seen a single one, maybe they have been sneaking in when I wasn't looking!! I was hoping for a bird blip and had my proper camera ready just in case.
