Frozen roofs, hedges and playing fields
I walked back home the longer way around, it is only just over five minutes longer but involves walking down a lane to where I took the photograph of the frosty rooftops, through a gate into the wooded bit, down the road to some traffic lights and then crossing over to walk through the 'Abbeymead Open Spaces' where there is a play park for children and the playing field with a couple of football pitches. It stretches much further beyond the small hillock but you can see how white it is.
And yet, while we have reports of snow causing chaos to the South, North, East and West of us we have not had a single flake. And now the forecast is for it to get slightly warmer from Sunday afternoon.
Very disappointing for the children.
