Fort Bowie National Historic Site, AZ

To get to Fort Bowie we had to drive on a dirt road, then park the car and walk for 1.5 miles. It was a beautiful trail. We passed a cemetery and a spring and then arrived at what was left of the Fort. Which was not much. We walked around the grounds and looked at the places where once the buildings stood.
We also had a quick visit with a ranger at the visitors center.
