Franklin Mountains State Park

We arrived at Franklin Mountains SP around 3:30 pm. What a beautiful park! We checked in, parked the van as level as we could, and then decided to go for a little hike while there was still daylight. During the sunset, the mountains got this beautiful warm orange/red color. We also saw a couple of birds and a bunny. We were warned for snakes, but I think they stayed home. We didn't see any. After the sunset it cooled off very fast, so we spent the evening inside the van.
