Mizzle

Today did not start well as we realised fairly quickly that the heating was on the blink.  V tried most of his fixes but it’s a boiler problem.  Just as we head into a particular cold snap.  The engineer can’t come until tomorrow. 

In addition V has a cold that’s led to conjunctivitis so it’s sorry city in this house.  I kept very busy to keep warm, had a long walk, did tasks and chores until lunchtime and then got the office warm (it has a wall heater) and got stuck into some reading and a couple of zooms. 

I painted some swatches on the wall as I’m going to get our little sitting room painted.  We don’t need much colour as the whole house is full of colourful art and artefacts but I am getting bored of Farrow and Ball Clunch.
