Paying Their Dues...

HAHA..didn't take long for those cacti to earn their keep and reward me for adopting them! 

It was not a day for galavanting about in search of photo-ops..

Our Prime MinisterJustin Trudeau announced this morning that he is retiring, parliament is "prorogued" until March and the search is on for a new leader! We are in quite a mess...and with a right wing party lined up salivating to take over! 

Heaven help us. With Trump taking power in a couple of weeks and threatening to destroy us with tariffs and absorb us as his 51st state, here we are with our government in disarray? And an inevitable election on the horizon?...Yikes... I spent the day glued to CBC News Network, looking for at least a glimpse of hope....

The outlook is dim...

I did not go out. I did not take a single photo...but...aha! I have cacti in bloom!  Another blip saved!
