Goldcrest

..bless him, what lovely tiny birds.  I had such a funny time blipping him though, firstly because he kept retreating back into the ivy and then, when he showed himself a bit more, as here, I saw there was a treecreeper on a large branch only a metre away.  I honestly didn't know which way to point the camera, but you can see who won!

It's being a very beautiful day so far, but I'm posting this early (lunchtime) because in a minute I'm going to eat breakfast.  Yes, I forgot to at the relevant time because once I saw the blue sky that was it, I was off to the reserve.  I then went from there into town and have just been dumped home by the bus, feeling very cold indeed.  Hot coffee, that's what I need!
