Cake time

Sixteen candles, wow.
Stressful and reflective day.
Nearly back to school :-/

Ben is officially sixteen, he was awake at 2:40am and really struggled with the morning, we've tried to make everything nice for him, give him the day he wants and to understand that he's out of routine but it's also quite stressful having to keep safe from an angry, six foot 16 year old so I've ended the day feeling a little deflated and sad that this is how special occasions are for us.  I think I'm just really ready for him to go back to school tomorrow.. tune back in then when I promise to be more grateful and less self indulgent.. 
This was him blowing his candles out, I think he's had a decent enough day all things considered.
