We had some Snow!

Crisp, clean snow! First ones

out this morning, followed fox
and bird tracks up road :-) 

We were the first out on our street at around 6:50am this morning and there were no human footprints at all in the snow, it took me a minute, in the greyish gloom, to notice paw print proof that the fox had been EVERYWHERE!  So funny, in and out of all the gardens but obviously using hedges as entryways rather than the classic driveways or gates :-) and no discernible logic to the order in which he hit the houses, there seemed to be a complicated one up, double back, cross the road pattern to his wanderings.  Reminded me of failing to get my steps right in aerobic classes as a teenager!
Mr KCNQ2Haiku took Ben to Caffè Nero whilst I wrapped his birthday presents for tomorrow and took the Christmas tree down, he had a bit of a tricky time by all accounts, Ben is definitely struggling at the moment.  Hopefully getting his birthday out of the way and getting back to school will settle things down.  Roll on Tuesday :-/
