Late arrivals

Not many birds around when I looked out this afternoon. I suppose it was already beginning to get dark. However, there were two Blue Tits flitting about, from tree to tree to peanut feeder. They do tend to wait until all the other birds have gone before appearing.

Very cold but no snow as yet. I would not be surprised if we get snow overnight though. We are planning to stay put for the next few days.
