New boots

Slept reasonably well and we were up and eating bacon rolls by just before 9. I was home by 10 and away again by 11 to meet Miss PHL to head out to the shops at Livingston.

We were on the hunt for a pair of knee length boots for Miss PHL but they proved elusive. She did manage to pick up 3 pairs of trainers and I snagged a pair of chunky ankle boots for less than half price.

Home again and time to relax before dinner of salmon and stir fry vegetables. I’ve just finished watching Joy on Netflix. A very interesting look at those wonderful scientists who worked on the science of IVF. Fascinating.
