Girls night in

A huge thank you to everyone who liked, commented and sprinkled hearts on my blip from 31st December. You’ve put my blip on the front page of popular. I’m very humbled by your support.

All go this morning as my Spanish sister in law was heading back to Madrid as she has to work tomorrow and they had to leave by 10 to get her to the airport. Took a while to get the children occupied but I stayed out of the rushing about enjoying some quiet time with Phin.

After they’d finally made it out to the car, Phin and I enjoyed a lovely long walk at Dalkeith. Very cold and icy but so nice to be out in the winter sunshine.

Leftovers for lunch beforehand I did some tidying up and put a load of washing in the machine before getting myself ready to head to my friend Susan’s for the night.

We had a very relaxed evening catching up, drink Prosecco and enjoying a fish supper for our dinner. It was wonderful. A quick trot round the block with her wee dog shortly before midnight set us up nicely for bed!
