New year surfer

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

After lunch at my mother-in-law's we went for a walk on the beach. We arrived just before it reached the bottom of the tide, and so we were able to walk about with plenty of space for the dog to run. It was quite windy and there were a few surfers out in the water getting blown about.

The extra is a sand pattern where the water draining away and the wind has sculptured the surface. It looked much better in reality than in the picture, but I still like it.
