New Planting
At last, a crisp and sunny day. It has been complete contrast to yesterday’s mild, grey, stormy weather.
I’ve walked, dropped off composting at the allotment and tidied up some wind blown items - fortunately my shelter stayed upright! I’ve also placed an order for vegetable and flower seeds to grow this year.
My blip shows one of ten elm trees which have been recently planted in the meadow where we walk Merlin. They are a hybrid named Ulmus Rebona, which is resistant to Dutch Elm Disease. I’m looking forward to watching them grow.
