New Year’s Day Balancing Act

A stormy day with high winds overnight and all morning, then pouring rain. We managed a few brief walks but otherwise spent our time inside. I sorted through my vegetable and flower seeds, and worked out which new ones I want to get this year. I’m going to try to grow more winter vegetables in addition to the summer ones.

On one of our walks Merlin appeared with this twig balancing on his nose. He seemed oblivious to it or perhaps he was more interested in asking for a biscuit!
