Point Pleasant Park

I decided to go to Point Pleasant Park in Halifax for a walk this morning. I go there 2 or 3 times a year. Most of the trails are off leash areas for dogs, so I avoid most trails, other than the beach area. I was hoping for a few more birds, but other than gulls and black ducks all I saw was one female eider.

The owner has someone coming over on the weekend to check the heat pump. The fan ran almost constantly for the past 3 days. The outside temperature was mild for this time of year. Today was cooler. This morning, the fan shut off and I had to adjust it several times this afternoon to keep it running. Right now, it is set at 24 C, and it is barely keeping the living room at that temperature. Most of the time it is blowing cool air. Other days I have had it set at 22 C and the actual temperature in the living room is 24.5 C. I find with the heat pump the floors are often cold. I might have to buy a little heater that I can have beside my desk and let it run in the evening. Once my feet are cold I find it hard to get warmed up.

I slept last night from about 10 pm to 6:30 am, and only woke up twice  and went right back to sleep both times.
