From the Dartmouth side

These are the same cranes as the ones in yesterdays photo. Today you see them from the Dartmouth side of the harbor.

The temperature dropped yesterday afternoon and today was windy with some snow flurries. I decided to finish my jigsaw puzzle this morning and go out after lunch. I had to go to Walmart to pick up a few things, then I decided to stop at the Dartmouth waterfront to get a few photos.

I have been wanting to start using my desktop computer to import my photos and do any editing. I was going to put Lightroom on the desktop this afternoon and it would not come on. It did the same thing that it did a few weeks ago. I checked the cable and it still seemed to be tight on the monitor. I called the shop and complained, they said I would have to bring it in again. When I unplugged the cord from the back of the computer I thought I would try plugging it in again and turning the computer on. It decided to work. Tonight when I was on that computer, I left it for a few minutes and the monitor went to sleep. I went into the settings to change that and found another setting that said the computer would go to sleep if not used for an hour. I changed that to 'never'. I suspect that was the problem this afternoon. I had left the computer turned on with the monitor turned off for about a week. Anyways I will shut the computer down when not using it now.

The heat pump was still blowing cool air this morning but keeping the living room at 24 C. I decided to turn the fan down to a lower speed. When I did that, it started blowing warm air. There must be something on the outside unit that is sticking or it is dirty. Hopefully the repairman will show up tomorrow. Sunday's high temperature is forecast to be -8 C, so I really want it working properly by then.
