Reflections
We finally have had a sunny day! The last few weeks have been extremely cloudy and overcast. We had a few rain showers today but it has been clear for the most part. I was thrilled! I had to pop across the road to get some photos (see the extra).
Little Man has been a darling all day, despite us staying home. I had a good delivery arrive, containing pizzas and anchovies (amongst other things), which we had for dinner. I love pizza with anchovies on it but rarely have that, due my preferences being in the minority. We had some friends round this afternoon, Angela and her son. The boys are similar in age and get on really well. Angela and her husband used to be in my life group, before everyone got shuffled around¹. They live just up the road from us.
Whilst the pizzas were in the oven, we had a quick chat with my parents, which was lovely. They're very busy in Uganda and are really enjoying it. It can be hard sometimes with them being so far away.
¹Every September, the life groups are changed up by the leadership. They decide who is goes to which life group, in order to maintain life groups sizes, amongst other reasons.
