Friday Sunshine!

It feels like an eternity since we last saw the sunrise come up like this. The last month or so has had cloud covering almost every day. It's been difficult.

We've had another lovely day. We went to Woerden to do a bit of shopping, for items that I couldn't get online,  like nappies¹. The bus journey was still free, due to technical issues with the payment system, I think. I don't know if I've mentioned it before but a new company has taken over the route and there seems to be some sort of technical glitch. Oh well, it saved me some money (thankfully Little Man is free anyway).

We've had a quiet afternoon, and managed to get home before the rain. We've been forecast snowfall, starting on Sunday night, along with a mix of snow and rain. I'm trying not to think about it as it means that the house is going to be even colder and harder to heat (even with the woodstove).

¹Little Man is still not showing any interest in getting potty trained, despite my attempts to get him to start. The nappies that work best for Little Man are Kruidvat's own brand, with the possible exception of Pampers. I've tried other brands, but always go back to Kruidvat's nappies. Pampers are just too expensive.
