Slipper Orchid (Paphiopedilum maudiae )

First let me thank you for your wishes over our flood.  In the 43 years we have lived here it has only once entered the house and that was before we fitted air brick covers.

THis blip is purely for my records.  On new years eve I spotted this new bud on my Paph.  This is the first time in the few years I have had the plant it has had two flowers so I felt I needed to record it.  A new bud seemed a good blip for a new year and yesterday I had other things I needed to record.
