Out for a walk today...

...with Jan on her kick sledge and me on my feet. A beautiful day as long as the sun was up. Quite breezy which made it feel very cold but still lovely to be out.
Claire, who now lives 5 hours north of us, was ready to set off for our place when the electricity went off in her village. She waited 3 hours or so, until it came on and everything started working again and then headed south for our place, arriving rather later than she planned, but we were very happy to see her smiling face and hear the woofing of Rusty, her Irish terrier.
